Stark Varg Hits the U.S.: Are You Ready?

If you live stateside and you’re a fan of powerful, tech-driven bikes, the Stark Varg’s arrival in the U.S. market is a major event you don’t want to miss.

This electric enduro bike has already been dominating in Europe, and now it’s ready to show American riders just how much electric bikes can change the game.

What Makes the Varg So Special?

For starters, the Stark Varg has serious power and performance. With two versions to choose from — the Varg EX and Varg Alpha — the Varg offers riders between 60hp and 80hp, which makes it one of the most powerful electric off-road bikes on the market.

What’s even more impressive is the torque. The Varg is capable of generating up to 938Nm (692lb-ft) of torque at the rear wheel. This kind of power makes it a true contender against some of the best gas-powered bikes, particularly in the rugged terrains that define off-road riding.

Success in Europe: The Varg’s Proven Performance

Before making its U.S. debut, the Stark Varg has already been showing off its exceptional performance in Europe. In fact, the Varg made such an impact at the X Games that it was actually banned from future competitions due to its overpowering performance. It was simply too fast and too capable compared to traditional gas-powered motorcycles. The X Games organizers felt it created an unfair advantage, leading to a ruling that electric bikes, including the Varg, would be excluded from upcoming events.

This might sound like a setback, but it’s actually a massive endorsement of just how impressive the Varg is. When an electric bike outperforms some of the best gas-powered competition to the point of exclusion, you know you’re dealing with something special.
